Brian and I went out to a bar after my cousin’s 31st birthday, and I actually got hit on by a woman! Omg! Rachael did great in Mexico with Dr. Ortiz!  She is recovering well.  I hope her headaches go away though…

Yesterday one of my closest and dearest friends had Lap Band surgery at the OCC with Dr. Ortiz! I’m so happy that we can go through this together! She is a wonderful and strong person, who I admire!

On the other hand, my poor hubby is having a really hard time right now with his LB Lax program! Parents and other students are all at each other’s throats and hate their coach. Growing pains, I’m chalking it up to growing pains… The program is growing and things are changing, and times are unsettling. But as a wise person once told me, this too shall pass!!
But whatever, right? I’m heading out to the bar, and I’m not going to be very responsibile! LoL!

Lost 55 lbs so far! Feeling kind of down these days, but I guess I’ve brought it on myself! My mom always told me when you go looking for something, prepare yourself, you just may find something! Old ghosts coming back to haunt me, I guess! I am searching for ways to burry the ghost that haunts my conscious being! DEEP, huh?

A few months and counting!!

A few months and counting is right! These are just a couple of progression photos. Can’t wait until I’ve reached my goal, and I can look back at these photos in amazement!

I received my 2nd fill on 2/20/09 in St. Pete by Dr. Gonzalez. I have no idea how much is in there, but I’ve got some restriction now and I’ve lost two lbs. I have lost 50 lbs and feeling GREAT!!

Lacrosse season is in FULL FORCE! We had a hard loss the other night in TRIPLE overtime to a team that we don’t really respect! It was a hard loss, but hopefully the team will emerge victorious, and go all the way to State!
Work is picking up, thank God! I’m feeling better these days. I went through a rough patch there, but I’m over it now!
I love my Brian and I am happy with my marriage and my life!

I have haulted in my progress! I have scheduled my 2nd fill on 2/20/09 and that date cannot come fast enough.
This is really hard to do by yourself, God Bless the Band!

Happy New Year.  We partied until 6 a.m. with friends and family!

 Yesterday, 1/6/09 we went to the YMCA to work out. It was great! I have lost 45 lbs so far and feeling great! I missed my New Years goal of 50 lbs, but 5 lbs away is a success in my opinion. On a sad note, tonight will be the last time I see my neices Heather Ann and Skylar for a year, because their Dad, who’s in the ARMY, is being transferred to New Jersey. You will be missed! I love those guys!

This is a picture from our photoshoot in the park!  We had a great time and will really cherish these photos.  The photographer was really nice and some of the pics were pretty good, however, this picture was not one of them.    My brother-in-law, Dan, took this one and he did a great job!

Dan took this one of Gina, Ray, Heather and Skylar!  Awesome huh?  I love this picture.

My first fill went really well.  I didn’t know what to expect, so I don’t think that I got enough this time.  Nex time I will get more.  It didn’t hurt at all and I am so glad that I found a really nice place to go!

Thanksgiving was pretty good!   As far as food goes, I did very well.  I ate all but rolls.  Missing my Grammy was something else though.  It was harder than I thought it would be, but I felt her spirit with us.

Thanks for reading my blog.  Can’t wait for Christmas,  this weekend we’re gonna do a professional photoshoot.  Hope I look thinner!

Yes, that’s me!  I will be 32 years old soon.  I guess you could say that I’m hitting my pique, NOT!  I have so many things to see and do.  I have so many new experiences yet to experience. 

It’s pretty incredible, this thing called “life”.  You think you know something or somebody, and then WHAM, you were so wrong or WHAM, you were so right.  I love living life.  I am so thankful to God for my journey.

I wish that everyone could open their eyes and see what a beautiful thing life is.  I always look forward to awakening to a new day and being pleasantly surprised by the gifts that I possess.

Sure, there are things that I want, that I have yet to have.  But I try to be happy with all of the things that I already have.  I pray to God that one day, Brian and I are blessed with a child.  I know in my heart that if I am patient and full of love in this life, my heart’s desire will be granted.

Sometimes, you think you want something and you just know you won’t be happy without it, but just hold tight, ask God to help you, because he knows what is best for you!  I truly believe that!!

I tried on this sexy cop outfit that I bought for Halloween last year.  It was too small then, and it’s still a little snug, but it fits much better.  Maybe next Halloween it will be too LARGE!

I am on a new road!  Tomorrow I get my first fill and I am looking foward to that!  My mom and I are driving down to St. Pete together to go to a good doctor.

I am not really nervous about the fill, I am more nervous about afterwards.  I hope it will go okay and I wn’t get sick and not be able to eat.  But I need more restriction because I can almost eat whatever I want now, and that’s not good.

Dr. Ortiz was on TV the other day.  I didn’t get to see it, but my Mom said it was really good.  They were talking about him and his clinic!  I am proud to be banded by Dr. Ortiz and have had an awesome experience so far!
